Considering the growing importance of herbal based products and to provide collectors, traders, manufactures and consumers, an interface for networking and marketing on a long-term sustainable basis, Federation have been organizing National Level Herbal Fair (Van Melas) with resounding success for the last three consecutive years with increased participation from both the manufacturers and consumers.

In addition, the Federation has been participating in National and International Trade Fairs to increase awareness about products of the State. To boost our initiative the State received the first prize for its stall and presentation in the International Ayurved Expo, Cochin in October 2002 and also in India International Trade Fair (IITF), New Delhi held in November 2002.

Organisation of Buyers-Sellers Meet have been another initiative of the federation to provide an interface between the growers and sellers of the medicinal plants and to facilitate direct negotiation and marketing of thier produce.
